OK, it's my first Atkins day at work that we are celebrating someone's birthday. We always always always have cake on someone's birthday. With the exception of mine that they forgot. I don't want to make a big deal out of it and be like, "Oh I'm doing Atkins and I can't eat your cake blah blah blah." So? I guess I've already made up my mind that I can have one carb spike day every two weeks but I really wanted to do it on my terms. I'd rather have pizza or ice cream than cake. I will eat this cake. I will even force myself to enjoy it. But it will be a small piece and it will not have frosting. "And there will be laughter and mirth and ass grabbing!"

I have Friday off to go apartment shopping. Paul's pretty much made up his mind on where he wants to live so it should be an easy trip. We're hoping to have dinner with his boss and her husband one night. I've never met her so it will be a good opportunity for me.

In other news, I have an ultimate tournament coming up and I am OUT OF SHAPE. The plan is to run tonight. I might even let Paul "coach" me again with plyos and weird conditioning exercises. Butt. Needs. Kicked.

Happy Monday!

Don't feel like you have to have cake. I never do. When asked I just tell them that I really don't care for it and leave it at that. And then I eat my MIM and am totally okay with that. Actually, I'm better than okay because I won't be falling asleep at my desk from the sugar crash. Remember, you are in control.
