buraksmom's Journal, 22 May 2022

Well well, tomorrow I am seeing my dietician and it would be nice if I could walk for 40 minutes but I am not doing any of walking or running today. I am dead busy, I have to complete editing/writing tasks. I hope, tomorrow I will get rid of the curse of 80s and at last I could see 79.9kg! My inner voice says it is not happening cause I am sitting all day but who knows.

Burakmom sweetie don’t be so hard on yourself … first stressing over it doesn’t help am ready to share the little I’ve come to learn look at my journal I was in the same position ….

Nadia, thank you for your kind words :) Each week, dietician also says stress makes it worse. I try not to stress over it but the longing procedure is threatening my determination. I need to be more laid-back or else I will get bored and jump over drinks and snacks under the sun (!)

Could you try adding some activity to your day at your desk? Eg get up every 20 mins to stretch your legs. Read standing up, walk about when on the phone etc these all add up and might help shift the odd 100g or 2. When I am stressed about work stuff I try to tackle the thing that's worrying me the most first thing. 😀🤞👍
