Supercharging my nutritional adventures (I don’t like the word “diet” because it implies deprivation rather than discovery). Usually I get up and make coffee right away. Fun fact: I didn’t drink coffee until I was in my forties (ha, autocorrect changed that to “dirties”). My kids made it every morning, and I got sucked in. But, this last week, I’ve changed things up a bit. No food or water passes my lips until I lose another four or six-tenths of a pound. It happens pretty quickly, too, in the morning after the nightly fast brought on by a night of shuteye. Using the facilities will hasten it too, usually taking me past that goal, so sometimes I will stretch it. This modus operandi has really accelerated things. Maybe a good strategy to try when plateauing.
