There's no way I gained almost two pounds on a day that I actually went out and walked 4 miles.
Okay, so I did have a burger last night. Which wouldn't have been so bad except for the fries. BUT it had been literally months and considering this used to be a weekly ritual for me, I'm actually pretty proud of myself. Also, I left out the bun which I hope was helpful.
This must be water retention. There was a lot of salt in both the burger and those fries, and I've been really watching my salt intake lately. So I think my body is having a "wtf moment" here. Hopefully I'll go back down in the next couple of days.

Don't worry about it. You would have had to eat 7,000 extra calories to actually put on 2 lbs. of fat. Unless you had one of those 5 lb. monstrosities they show on TV, it's just water retention from the increased salt. Your weight can fluctuate 5 or more pounds day to day, so don't worry about 2 pounds when you know you've been (mostly) good.
