Okay so my trainer told me I need more carbs! He knows I'm on the Atkins Diet and he's made it perfectly clear that he's not a fan of it, lol. Soooo, now it's time to figure out how to transition back into the consumption of good carbs w/o gaining unnecessary weight!?!?!? HELPPPPPP...

It looks like your weight loss has been pretty steady...Be very careful changing diets if this one is working for you. Good carbs meaning addng more veggies?

Wow, I am scared for you! I am totally scared of carbs being diabetic I am use to watching them. So when someone says eat carbs I bite my nails. LOL! Let me know how that goes K~

Start off with certain fruits and veggies on the low glycemic scale. Add them in slowly. Good luck!

I'm a South Beacher, you can't get me to eat refind carbs. you can fing enough carbs in fruit and vegs.

Suzi is right, I'm not on Atkins but I don't eat high carbs, I use the glycemic scale to measure my carbs. I try not to go over 100g per day.

I had same problem. Training hard requires more energy to recover. My trainer was so mad when I told him I was on Atkins I cant even tell you. Of course that means veggies and maybe one or 2 servings of fruit. I eat carbs in the morning and right after my intense workout. For example I can have my low-carb protein shake + 1/2 cup of blueberries or 1/2 an apple + 1 slice of cheese or 1 Tbsp peanut butter. For breakfast I have plain old fashioned oatmeal (1/3 cup dry) + 1/2 cup of berries with it. And of course nothing like potatoes or corn or bananas.
