So sad to hear you are sore, but sometimes thats the way it goes with therapy...it should be worth it in the long run. You have a great attitude - never quit~!!

Wow, Gigi. I understand the pain though. Physical therapy can be rough. Years ago I had trouble with my left arm. It was a combination of my damaged rotator cuff and fibro. I was unable to lift my arm or use it and was very painful if I tried. The 1st thing was needed was to get the inflammation down. We (my doctor and I) tried massive dosases if ibuprphen for 2 months which didn't work at all. Finally I got a cortazone (sp) shot which for me worked like magic. Anyway, it may take time but you'll get it handled. LOVE your attitude my friend!!! KOKO

gg-girl, Thanks for the encouragement!I am NOT a quitter...comes along with grit and determination(aka/stubborness) inherited from both sides of the family!LOL!!
Ruby, I had a partial shoulder replacement .Have had 4 surgeries in the last 6 yrs.A LONG RECOVERY!!!I too have fibro and it really flares up when she tries to get more movement by stretching(breaking loose) scar tissue ,increase reps or weight during therapy.I have a severe allergic reation to ansaids like Motrin,etc...So I am out of luck of that front and I have had several cortisone injectios last year, They help for a while , but you can't get them very often. What is GOOD on one condition is BAD for the other !I just use a lot of ice packs and keep moving it everyday. My living room looks like a rehab gym!

Hi girl! Sorry to learn you are feeling so rotten w/ your sore arm. Hope you will be feeling lots better soon. Regarding the inflammation you are experiecing...wondering, have you tried drinking dark teas (hot tea)? It is a natural remedy for inflammation - especially asian teas. I think I heard green tea also helps with that. Maybe you can check into it. Best wishes---Blessed Easter!!
