woah STAIRMASTER!!!!

if you ever want to drip sweat down every part of your body, i have found the machine for you. uuggghhh it was gross!!! :) but a good workout, i do have to say.

anyway, sitting here getting ready to clean up a 10 month old whom i (unwisely) fed spaghetti for lunch. it seems my day is destined to be full of yuk-o things. ;)
diet is going fairly well, however, i seem to be completely stuck at exactly 170 no matter what i do. if anyone has tips for busting through a plateau, i'm all ears. i got some new ($$$$!) running shoes over the weekend. i'm really excited for the race in Sept. (half-marathon) and i hope to be down to goal weight by then. with the way it's been slowing down lately, i'm a little nervous.

at any rate, i'm just babbling.
i hope to get a few minutes to catch up on everyone else's journal after crazy spaghetti girl goes down for a nap. (oh yeah, and while we're talking about tips, how about any for a two-year old boy who thinks he's done with naps??!!!)

hugs to everyone. hope your week is ROCKIN!!

I have been at the gym and have watched people take on that machine. It looks like a serious workout, I'll give you that. I see them walk that thing sideways too. One day I'll take it on and see how it works myself. There's only two at my gym (YMCA) and they are always occupied.

When i hit the gym again, I better give that machine another try. New running shoes are always the best. When I did my first 5k, i bought the livestrong nikes and I swear they made me run faster and longer. I still wear them to this day and I believe they build my confidence in running. Good luck with the run. As for the plateau, it happens to the best of us. Maybe try a detox and go from there.

Good running shoes are key. I don't think it's quite a plateau just yet. I've been at one for months. That's a plateau. Just up your water intake and mix up long workout days with short workout days. See if that helps.

Glad you liked my cookie story! Damn our wonderful baking skills! Why must we be burdened with such things? ; )

Selutz your weight loss looks great! And yes those stairmaster machines do rock. I call the one at our gym the devil and when I get off I am pooring the sweat like you said, but if we ain't sweating we ain't losin. :) Way to go, good job!

Your weight loss is fantastic and I admire your great workouts! The stairmaster sounds like a killer, good job! BTW, I have a 9 year old daughter who *still* looks like she buried her face in the plate when she eats spaghetti! Messy, but good. :)
