Wow, what a two day trip it has been, Thursday we get on a train at 6 am from Savannah to West Palm Beach, we walk the train several times, have breakfast in the dining car, get out and stretch at the stations designated as smoke n stretch stops, we arrive in WPB at 6pm. I run down the platform, buy a ticket on the Tri-rail and run up three flights of stairs cross the tracks and run down three flights of stairs then run for the train to go to Hollywood. Ride for an hour get off the train, trot (tired now) up three flights of stairs, cross the tracks then down three flights, wow....sweating and panting now. Get in the vehicle with my BFF and we go to Chillies and have dinner together and catch up on each other. They drive me back to WPB and I fall into bed at the hotel at midnight. At 5 am the alarm goes off and our friend who is moving picks us up at 6 to get the U-hauls and go have breakfast. I am starved at this point and I know it is going to be a long day so I food up and have 3 ham and cheese omelets, the rest of of my day was spent drinking water and moving boxes and loading one 20 foot U-haul truck, then a 26 foot U-haul truck. They were supposed to be loaded and ready to go but the crew that was supposed to do it did not show up on Thursday, so we did it Friday ourselves. At 4 pm they are loaded and we climb in, hubby in the 26er me in the 20 and we begin driving them back to Georgia. 11.5 hours on the road fighting a bad front end and thunderstorms, we arrive at home at 3:30 am and fall into bed...completely exhausted. I might have dehydrated myself with all of the sweating I did while loading because I had bad muscle cramps and only had to make 2 pee stops on the trip even though I was steady drinking water. I got up at 8 this morning and my calves are hard as rocks and my tendons from my calf to my heel feel like they are shrunken and dried. OUCH!!!!!!! Monday is my first weigh in, we will see if the trip helped or hurt me!
