I am not sure what is going on here! My weight went up 2 pounds!! What the heck! I have exercised and eaten within my diet to the best of my knowledge. I did eat out on Saturday, but I ate something that I have eaten several times before with no issues (1 fish taco, charro beans and salsa- I carried my own FF Pringles to eat instead of the chips.) I also ate at my mother's house on Sunday at lunch. I had a small helping of turkey breast, 1/2 a baked sweet potato with no butter, lettuce, tomato, bell pepper and salsa for dressing, and a 1/2 ear of corn. I did splurge ans eat a biscuit. I can see maybe not losing anything, BUT 2 POUNDS?

Not a good Monday. I will walk today at lunch at the mall, because it is going to be raining. I will also walk on the treadmill this evening. Dinner tonight is going to be spaghetti. My family will likely eat spaghetti & I will cook some veggies and add the spaghetti sauce to my veggies.

I will get this back on track!!!

There's a good chance that the 2 pound increase is just a temporary fluctuation, due to water weight and/or extra solids still in your system - particularly if you're getting a good amount of exercise, and especially if that exercise is strenuous and includes strength training. My weight can jump up and down by as much as 6 pounds in a day, depending on how hydrated I am, and how much food hasn't been metabolized yet. Today, for example, the scale is up 2.4 pounds from Saturday. There's no way ate over 8000 extra calories and turned it into fat or muscle in that time, and I'd wager my bank account that the weight be lower tomorrow. The same thing is probably happening with you - probably. Just keep an eye on the overall trend and how your clothes fit. Don't panic! :)

I know in my head that this can just be water weight...blah blah blah, but emotionally seeing 140 on the scale this morning was a BIG DEAL! I thought I had left the 140s behind me forever! It definitely has me committed to getting in ALL my exercise this week.

I'll admit it... I weigh myself every day too. I gained 2 lbs over the weekend but ate like crap (birthday party at super fancy restaurant). However, I only record my weight once a week to help me see beyond the day to day fluctuation!
