Had to jump on and off the scales this morning just to confirm the .8kg loss!
Over the past few days I've upped the fats and seriously reduced the carbs as in line with Keto Clarity.
So this is my quest, to adapt our staple everyday meals, and discover a few more to fall back on when motivation and enthusiasm wains.
It really was a struggle to up the fats, and at one point felt a bit icky. Though I did put olive oil on the table yesterday, together with olive oil and apple vinegar dressing, plus home made mayo (made from olive oil). Even laced the chicken with chicken fat, it was delicious!
I had made chicken liver pate which is heavy in butter, and I had this with endive/chicory leaves (no need for toast!).
Yesterday I added all high fat foods to the diary first, then the protein, then the carbs, watching the pie-chart to keep to plan.
I do like olive oil as it's an anti inflammatory, with the same anti inflammatory chemical as ibrufen. Coconut oil has yet to arrive.
Have a great and successful day all! X
