Update on my shin splints. So, I've not ran for about 2 weeks. I thought I would have to start from scratch, but I decided to go to the gym and run on the treadmill. I always thought you are supposed to run with your heel striking first, but after doing some research, learned that I should run either toe first, or run almost flat footed. Yesterday was my first time trying the new style of running, and I was able to go for TWO MILES!!!! with no pain! Part of it I'm sure had to do with running on a treadmill. I usually run in my neighborhood, but my knees have been bothering me, so the treadmill is much better for that.

Imma go 2 the gym now.. and my knees hurt when I run.. Imma try the toe 1st method.. Glad u were able 2 get bk n2 it!
