Lots of changes going on, so I'm happy my weight has remained somewhat stable thus far.

Buying a new house, and now, we have to sell the one we have! Talk about stressful, as if keeping up with twin 3-year-old boys weren't enough! My husband says it sucks that we're going to fix up this place to make it look the best it's ever been just to leave. I had to remind him it would remain just as small, and that the new place we bought is much bigger.

The alcohol has definitely screwed my diet up so I've decided to cut it out completely for awhile. Also keeping an eye on my calories closer as well as the carbohydrates. Anything above 1500 calories and I seem to gain. It really doesn't help me out that I have had no time to exercise lately.

Been baking "oopsie rolls" like crazy since they're about 1 carb per serving, and cut out using Splenda (which counts as "1 carb per packet") in favor of using Sweetzfree, a 100% sucralose sweetener with 0 carbs, maltodextrin, and sugar-alcohols.

I do not trust sugar-alcohols, I'm sensitive to them, they tend to make me feel bloated, gassy, and sick to my stomach even after 1-2 servings, this is especially true of maltitol. On the other hand, the 100% liquid sucralose substitutes have been fantastic.

My shipments of DaVinci sugar free syrups have come in today! I look forward to making blueberry, cookie dough, English toffee, and pancake flavored oopsie rolls. It might take some experimenting, but I have no doubt I'll perfect the recipes! Also planning to attempt a jalapeño and sharp cheddar cheese oopsie roll because sometimes I like things a little on the savory side too.
