Had to cut back on 7,000 calories for 2 pounds weight loss...Good for you.

There apparently is some kind of metric that you have to reduce calorie intake by 3500 calories to lose a pound of weight, hence 7000 = 2 lbs weight loss. (I personally do not think of weight loss in these terms.) Congratulations on your progress!

That is correct - based actual real research - one pound of body fat is 3,500 calories - so instead of eating up your NET calories which equates to the fat loss - Instead keep adding them up to lose the body fat. I would rather lose the Dairy Queen hot fudge cherry Sundae - then use up the Net Calories lost - to reward myself with a .... Dairy Queen hot fudge cherry Sundae. I seriously do not want to carry around a Sundae with me - every day for the rest of my life. AFTER I get the fat off - then - I can use those Net Calories to supplement my present food plan --- in order to maintain my new body weight. Those NET calories are not FREE food options --- those are pounds of body fat loss. Well that is why I am here - I want to lose the body fat.
