Took my first, ever, yoga class. It was Bikham (or "hot") yoga. About 45 minutes in my abs cramped up. Which means I was using them. And based on the amount of pain... using my abs may have also been a first. I finished the class; did't faint or pass out even though it was really, really hot. Yeah!

Take water to drink during your hot yoga class. Stay hydrated. Yoga has taught me that NO exercise should be an exercise of muscle isolation. Everything should use your core... even bicep curls. :)
