SherrieC's Journal, 18 June 2014

I have to vent this morning. I am not sure if anyone remembers me talking about my neighbors and them not needing to own dogs. Well she calls me this morning and asks if I have seen one of her dogs, I tell her no. She tells me that the dog was in the house last night, because she fell asleep with her. Then she tells me that her husband didn't let the dog out when he left for work. I go outside and meet her, she tells me that even the chain that she puts the dog on is gone too. WTF ????

I knew they didn't need any animals because they do not take care of them. So, I walk up and down the road looking for the dog (because I love that dog)and didn't see her. Anyway, I have been outside in the garden cutting grass. Yep how bad is that, when you have to cut the grass that has grown up in the garden. Next, I need to till it up again. It is getting so hot outside I am not sure what I want to do yet. Okay, that is enough, I hope you all have a wonderful and blessed day !!!!
PS: Thanks for listening :)

That's what we are all here for! A bit of support on any front is a good thing! Love the heat while it lasts I wish I could be out in my yard today! Enjoy and good luck with your neighbor!

These people SO do not need to own a dog. I do hope she's located. The fact that the chain she was on is gone is VERY fishy to me.

Maybe you weren't the only who feels that way about them and the dog was taken. Probably better off. Enjoy your time in the garden, try not to stress too much about the dog. If it wants to it will come home.

We have 3 dogs ourselves and I CANNOT STAND when people have pets that they have no clue on how to take care of them. I never had kids so my dogs are like my babies and we treat and care for them like they're humans - very protective of them. It's very sad about your neighbors dog - I hope the dog is located - it'll just be sad that it'll be right back in the hands of the people who obviously don't have a clue how to care for them (that poor dog...). You should give the dog super yummy treats all the time so that when it does get loose, it'll come to your house! LOL Least everyone will know where she is!

LOL thats funny you should say that City-Girl. When she is out she makes a b-line to my house. Thank You everyone for your support today and everyday, it truly means a lot !!! You know the worst part of it all is that they have another dog, a pitbull that they just let run free, but she hasn't crossed the road yet, but has been in the road. Can you imagine, a young couple with 2 baby's ages 3 and 2 I think. Plus two dogs, and a few other animals in the house. I know I couldn't do it, at least no properly. Crap I will shut up now, sorry. Thank You All !!!

Hopefully somebody "stole" the dog when they saw it running free, with or without a chain, and will give it a good home. Don't worry about grass in your garden, it's a plant, too! You have a green thumb!

Hay I know a few people who don't deserve the right to own a dog or cat. I would do anything for mine including spending money at the vet that I don't have. As for the garden. Those weeds are a big job. I have a garden too and constantly pulling out weeds so they don't take over my garden. I cut my green romaine lettuce yesterday and it was wonderful. I can't wait for the rest of my vegetables to be ready to eat.
