Today I met with an oncology nutritionist. I really liked her approach--she looked at how I was eating and offered suggestions based on modifying what I am already doing as opposed to suggesting I make dramatic changes. And the changes seem doable, like adding some snacks, and adding additional protein to snacks and meals that don't have protein. And I can do all of this while still doing an anti-inflammatory diet with an eye to anti-angiogenesis-causing foods.

She also had some good suggestions on curbing nausea, and just being more positive about food in general.

Today my favorite food was some miso soup with rice I ate out before going to a movie. I make miso soup at home a lot, but I always really enjoy it when I go out. I was visiting a friend, too. I got more than my average number of calories, which is great! I'm glad that I can eat more and still lose weight.
