I had a really nice weekend. I am finally beginning to get some energy back as my sinus infection resolves. I am so very thankful for that.

On Saturday the DH and I played Wii bowling and I bowled 225! I am definitely getting better. He is still waaaaay ahead but I think I'll have to mentally bump my average from the 145 I think of it as now. I wish Wii told you your average.

Next weekend I run a hospitality suite at a convention and I got lots of shopping done for suite munchies and such. Found some eco-flatware that is compostable! Two friends with Costco cards helped. We dropped off the guy and after putting food away my gal pal, Gwebbie, and I went out for a manicure & pedicure.

A decade ago I used to get manicures all the time but I admit this was my first ever pedicure. I fought (and won) over toe fungus and also athlete's foot that I think I picked up at a gym. I just have never trusted pedicures to be cleanly enough. This is Gwebbie's usual salon though so I screwed up my courage. So I have wine red nails -- with little gold flowers with a rhinestone center on my thumbs and big toes. Or should I say "salsa red" because they turned out to be exactly the same colour as my Prius and that is what Toyota calls the colour. Gwebbie laughed at my and said she had heard of people choosing polish to match their clothes but not their car!
