Wow. I swear this office wants me to be fat. Haha. They had a "rally" this morning. Which, of course, I did not go to. Getting up an hour earlier for it? Hell no. They brought back leftover breakfast pastries, bagels, cream cheese, etc. I've been very tempted... They also served baked potatoes with chili, cheese, sour cream, butter.... yeah.... Oh, and cake.... Oh, and they sent out these "Lucky Grams" which are just bags of candy.... Two of my coworkers sent me one. I glared daggers at them for it as I ate a few pieces. Haha. I gave the rest to my boyfriend. There were also ice cream sundaes. Are you KIDDING ME?! I have a splitting headache today that, after 3 excedrin, still hurts just as bad... And all those carbs are really really tempting me. I'm staying strong... Must stay strong... Grr! I really hope the headache goes away soon. I want to be able to work out tonight. I will anyways, but I'll do a much better job if it doesn't feel like my brain is tangled in the treadmill belt.

Yeah, I caved and had a bagel though. Lol. Definitely have to hit the gym tonight!!!

I would have caved for the tater. My office doesn't have rallies (thank goodness), but marketers constantly bring in sweets/fried stuff/fried sweets. Right now I'm saving enough calories up over the week so an office birthday party on Friday doesn't completely sabotage me.

Haha. It was tempting, but by the time I caved they were all gone. Probably did less damage w/ the bagel and cream cheese than a potato with chili, cheese, sour cream, butter, and bacon bits on it... I think I'm usually pretty safe not to do too much damage, but I'm kind of a snob about food around here at work, so I don't want to cave and get a hard time for it. Lol. I'm awful, I know.

LOL The threat of public humiliation as a means of motivation. If it works, it works. My coworkers are kind of the opposite. They wouldn't give me a hard time, they're out to sabotage me.

Haha, I swear mine are sometimes. I helped with a fundraiser lunch today for MS. Fried Chicken... Corn.. Green beans.. Rolls with butter... Yeah, very yummy smelling. I came to the break room with my lean cuisine and they were egging me on to have some chicken, which I would have gotten for only $2 because I helped, lol. This is AFTER one of them told me yesterday "oh, you're doing so well with your weight loss!" Grr....

Great job in turning away from all that junk food and in avoiding most of what was in that "rally." :-)
