GogglesPaesano's Journal, 07 February 2011

After a great week of weight loss I definitely strayed over the weekend eating out (Ruth Chris Steakhouse) on Saturday night and (Dave and Busters) on Sunday. Buffalo chicken is my kryptonite. But football season is over now and I plan on focusing on diet and getting to the gym 3 times a week. I don't feel all that guilty for the steak dinner on Saturday because my wife and I were celebrating promotions and other great things that happened in 2010 for us so that was fine. But yesterday's cheating will haunt me for awhile. Trying to detox on Monday from the light beer and fat calories of yesterday. Lots of water all day and exercise tonight!

Holy shiznit! I <3 Ruth's Chris! Haven't done that in a while; then again, I have tried staying away from red meat for a while. But, if you're going to do steak, do it right! Congrats to you and the wife for good things :) Sounds like detox is the theme of the day so glad to hear of your plans and determination. Happy Monday!

mmmm...sstteeaakk... Congratulations on your (and your wife's) promotion. It looks like from the way your week went and the exercise you got, the weekend of excess won't hurt too bad. I fell off the horse a little this weekend too. As low as I kept my food intake, I made up for it with Johnny Red and his friend, the Captain. Not healthy by any stretch. But if we've learned anything on this site, it's to forget about passed slip ups and move on to a better week...
