Crazy hot day yesterday! Was about 38C (100.4F) in the shade! We went to the malls twice just to cool down LOL. We tried in vain to cool the house down when we got home from my parents lovely cool igloo LOL and we could only get it down to 28C (82.4F) so we slept with the noisy fan on all night LOL. Woke up this morning to a lovely cool morning, I have most of the doors and windows open and it is much more bearable now!
Yesterday walking outside was like walking in a fan forced oven - yuk! In honor of Laurie I should call it H#@t. ROFL!
Things I am thankful for today:
It is much cooler!!!
It is hubby's day off and he has holidays coming up...
We slept reasonably well even though it was so hot
I have beautiful lilies in the lounge and they smell divine!
I felt no quakes in the past 24 hours

ROFL the other hot I could have coped with (but not while in so much heat! LOL) My sister in Sydney had around 42C (107.6F) or more.....

Much too hot for me ... I fear I'd prefer being COLD!!! I used to live someplace where it got that hot during the summer ... I was miserable. KUDOS to you!!! Surely you burn more calories while you sweat!!

Me too Moose!!! I thrive in the winter - love every cold second of it! Thankfully here it doesn't often get that hot - it may be the hottest it gets for the year I am hoping!
