Back from spending more time in the hospital with my mother. This time for stents placed in her other leg to give blood flow to her foot to heal a large open wound and to hopefully avoid amputation of her foot.

UNTREATED DIABETES....for 25+ years. I hope everyone is taking this stuff serious and getting healthy no matter your size. putting the right food in our bodies and exercising is so much more than looking nice, although it is a great side benefit.

Diabetes is no joke! My husband was diagnosed, plus I have family history I'm desperately trying to avoid with diabetes, blood pressure, cancer and heart. I want a great body; but more importantly, I want a body and mind that will work well for me the next 40-50 years.

Yup no joke! Used to co-ordinate a weekly amputee clinic for the doc i worked for, mostly diabetics. A friend who has it has her stomach muscles deteriorating. She has been told she will have to eventually have a feeding tube inserted to keep her alive. Her stomach is having trouble digesting and then moving food into her intestines. Please take care everyone.
