After my 1st week of Insanity, I've finally made it to a rest day! I'm hoping that this week I'm not as sore as last week. I jumped in on month 2, so the workouts are longer and more intense than the 1st month. I'll try to clean up my eating habits this week by avoiding any soda and trying to eat more green vegetables.
My goal for this month is 12.6lbs, so hopefully this first week was a good start in the right direction. Tomorrow is weigh in day, so I'll be able to see any progress from the 1st week of workouts. I'll try to add at least 1 or 2 long walks/runs this week, building up to working out 2x per day in the weeks to come. To hit my 10% in 12 weeks, I'll need to lose 17.3 lbs or 1.4 lbs per week. In order to do that, I'll have to cut my calories to around 1400 per day initially and then cut back to near 1200 as I get smaller. I'll make sure to keep on posting, drinking lots of water and keeping motivated. One day at a time!
