backincontrol's Journal, 27 March 2014

so it has been a really bad week this week, I have not stuck to my RDI very well and a ton of carbs this week. I really need to re-focus my goals and get motivated again. Been depressed all week due to TOM, and bills and work and stress. Trying to see the bright side of things but not really finding it ATM. I know I have had a gain, which I am unhappy about. Trying to find a house to rent closer to my father in law who is ill, Not finding anything. My husband is a full time student and I am working hard but not getting paid enough, bills are piling up on us. Our seven year old has been having a rough time in school, and we have missed 3 consecutive appointments with his counselor, due to bad timing with our schedule. My car battery keeps dying on me, even though it is not the battery itself, had it checked. I need to go see the Dr. soon I haven't had a mammogram in 4 years, and I have pain in my right breast, I go see the dentist next week to get a couple teeth pulled now that I am broke enough to qualify for Medicaid. To bad it had to come to this. Now I must sign off and go get ready for work. Only 6 days till my next day off which makes it an 8 day work week. Ughh!!!!

Wow, you are have a lot on your plate. No wonder you are so stressed. Does your husband work part time to help with the bills? Lot's of students work part time and go to school full time. Heck some work full time and go to school full time. I wish I had an answer for you, but things will eventually change for the better.

my husband has more than a full course load and he is carrying a 4.0 GPA in Criminal Justice, He spends hours upon hours studying, sometimes I get to see him only for an hour or 2 a day. Next semester should be easier due to less credit hours but right now work for him is out of the equation. BTW he is 51 years of age and had a great paying job until the company went under and he lost his job, he received unemployment until the government decided to cut that out, now, thankfully with him being a war veteran, we are getting some help benefits, but they just started and we were already falling behind on things. I am hoping this is just a bump I the road but some days I feel like curling up in a ball and hiding from all the wolves at the door.

I bet! It's a wonderful thing you are doing for him and your family. Do the best you can and you will get through it!
