It is a cold rainy day. In a past life I'd of ordered a pizza (or some other gooey comfort food). Today I'm drinking a hot cup of beef broth - but still craving the pizza - LOL.

also in this Tuscan cookbook I just acquired there is a recipe for a flat bread that looks interesting that has paper thin tomatoes etc. on top. it's definitely not gluten free because it's a yeast dough. might work for some.

Good job Buffy! I've been considering buying some chicken broth, for those cold days as well, as like you, I've been famous for making a quick trip to Happy's Pizza, for a fast comfort food fix. Lately, my comfort food fix has been a ham and cheese sandwich, using a couple slices of a lower carb bread. At 10 net carbs, per 2 slices, it's a much better choice than making a run to Happy's Pizza. :-)

Cravings!!! Must be the weather. I've been craving a DQ Blizzard. My melon mix is really good, but not exactly DQ. Ah well, this too shall pass. Remember: A craving won't kill you - or me, either. :) (Repeat, as needed.)
