Doing ok. Lungs still really tight. Still sick. Doing nebulizers. Oldest woke up today and told me he was too sick for school, then asked if he could go play a computer game... I think at least one of us is feeling better, hmm? Youngest spent early early morning in the chair with me cause he was running 103-104 degrees when I went to check on him. Took tylenol and ibuprofen to get his fever to 99-100 range. Always worrisome giving him medications because he was born with his kidneys and liver not developed correctly. However it's stayed around 100 even after the meds wore off, so that's a plus. Learned my lesson about trying to exercise even with a mildish cold =p Been starving all day. I forgot how hungry prednisone + not smelling can make you. You know cats won't eat if they can't smell, us humans though, we eat more. Something is off about that o.0 Hope everyone is having a good Friday.
Evening Edit- I think I did ok today. Obviously not at my goal intake, but I did not go over maintenance, which is important also. I'm ending the day right about 1600 calories and my maintenance is suppose to be around 1700 if I don't exercise during the day. I think for the next few days until I'm not sick and not steroid loaded I'm going to try and stick below 1600- I'm not setting myself up for failure and then thinking I might as well eat what I want. Staying under 1600 while sick on steroids is very reasonable and is still technically a (very)slow calorie loss. It won't derail my weight loss, just slow it down a bit. Here's to spending next week in the 150s (btw- I'm not weighing in until this is over lol- I may know it's reasonable, but no use needlessly frustrating myself with a stuck scale value).
