Yesterday I did a very good thing and a very BAD one.

The good one: I did 2 hours of Zumba! It was good because I love it, and because it can only mean that I'm getting more condition. Clap clap clap!!!

The bad (terrible one): After weighing myself 3 times and seeing ridiculous (and definitely not satisfactory) numbers, I decided to eat some flour made junk food like crisps. To be fair, I was craving for them since MANY weeks. But what makes it bad, is that I didn't eat them only or mainly for the craving and the pleasure, but I also ate them as a consequence of my anger and disappointment.

I think I need to learn to weigh and not worry so much about that... But then, if the numbers don't go down as I expect, I'm getting discouraged. My motivation is strong and so is my diet and my exercise routine. But just seeing those numbers didn't help at all.

Today I feel all sore and my muscles are in pain. I think after 5 days of working out, today I will rest.

Hang in there Chickturu!! I'm a Newbie here, but one thing I do is NOT step on the scale but once a week...and take it for what it's worth! Instead...I grab a pair of favorite jeans or a top that I want to COMFORTABLY wear again and try them on every other day or so. Sometimes the scale weight is deceptive but inch loss and muscle strength is what I go for, and can be seen that way. Another thing is, IF you step on the scale...do it first thing in the morning after peeing, before you drink anything and before you shower. The body absorbs water as it hydrates itself (thank goodness) so it can throw off numbers pretty quick. Remember, same time- same way (weigh) Ha-Ha...play on words. Best thing you can do ALWAYS, is to BLESS YOUR BODY!! It's doing the best it can do with where it's at, & with what it's got!! Thank God! Affirm how thin, slender, vital, strong and beautiful it already is...and how perfectly it's supporting you Right Now! Close your eyes and really SEE YOURSELF as you Desire To BE. Hold on to that. What does that FEEL like? What would you do Differently as that? How would you continue to BE that, so it's a life-long decision you've made (not anybody else) to be optimum? Come up with a mantra that 'juices' you! Yea! It makes YOU FEEL GOOD every time you say it. And when those tempting or disappointing moments come, YELL it at yourself as YOUR TRUTH...You Decide...YOU CLAIM IT!!! The Universe and it's principles (how things work around here) have NO OTHER CHOICE, but to give you your heart's desire. Be thankful for that...and I love you! Keep up your good work, your worth it! Here's what I do when the number don't go the way they should. I think of at least two reasons why they didn't go well. Am I eliminating as expected? AM I retaining water? Did I eat a lot of physically heavy food, such as pineapple, broccoli, or salad that just simply weighs a lot and will take time to move on out? Once I figure out why I weigh more, I can relax and know it's not fat, and then I will be less likely to throw up my hands in frustration. Hope this helps!

Look at your chart! It looks amazing. You are losing every week and doing great. Realistic expectations is one of the most important aspects to weight loss. A pound a week is realistic. If you get more, then whoo hooo! If you get less than a pound ...whoo hooo. If that scale is going down then you are doing great. Sore muscles means your muscles are retaining water to help them heal. This could show on the scale as a temporary gain, no loss or smaller loss than usual. So your exercise can actually mask a bigger loss. Just stay consistent and keep going.

Thanks all, reading you guys helped a lot. It's good to receive motivational words from people that know the feeling. And you are right, I keep losing even if the numbers are not going down as fast as I would want. And at the end, what is important is to feel that you are losing; and I feel it :) thanks guys!
