Just glad you had a safe trip, thats what is most important. There will be other days for better food choices. Welcome home :-)

Oh boy, driving and snacking is a monster for me, also. I hate road trips for that reason. Before I started weight loss, snacking was the ONLY thing that made road trips even a little bit tolerable. I feel your pain, my friend. When you said, "mother nature had other plans", at first I got scared and thought you had some kind of bodily function emergency on the road - yikes! LOL.

P.S. Just write it off, as you stated. You will get back on track, and bounce back in no time.

For me the snacking binge comes with boredom and riding in the car is just that. You will be back on track before you know it.

The worst of it is that we are doing the exact same thing this next weekend! We are going back the same trip we just got back from. It is senior night and parents night both on Saturday. I have to remember that I want to look the best I can for parents night. That will give me the strength to not do it again I hope. There is not a lot to look at when you are driving that part of the country. Just lots of grain elevators and snow drifts!!!

It was an awesome visit and the team won. It has been an interesting ride all these years. Seems unbelievable that it is almost over. When she was a senior in high school we knew that she would play again. Now this time it is the end of her playing days. She is ready to go to the next phase in life...which makes it easier.

So glad you had a great weekend and hope the snacking was under control. Such a challenge. Stay safe in the messy weather.
