Okay, so my latest diet endeavour is on the path. I'm hitting decent calories, but I'm still feeling the cold, just below freezing outside today. The low end carbs during this little twisted diet is high enough to give me the energy I need, but low enough to feel the lack. My weight should be lower tomorrow, quite convinced it will be, but likely not as low as my 168. If the method works the way it is claimed, the last 5 of so pounds should come off quite easily. I'd never do this if I wasn't healthy, but then what I'm doing is healthier than my coke, cheesecake, cornchips, and coke diet. It's for a maximum of two weeks.

Wow, the 4C's diet? And with Coke as bookends? I started to get a cavity just ready about that one! This twisted diet you're on is sure to do the trick, NM, but each day may be its own fresh hell. I hope you don't forget how to eat. Are you counting the hours until that Valentine's Day dinner? Hang in there, stay bundled up against the cold and just keep telling your body to burn that fat. Would walking or stretching help warm your muscles at all during this time?

What a great point - even our extreme diets are way more healthier than the SAD (standard american diet) way of eating.

I agree, Buffy. Mrs. I hadn't even noticed it was the 4C diet, though I knew it was SAD. Dang it. I'm still getting decent calories, but if anyone tries to tell you that a liquid diet is the same as eating, well... they're just nuts is all I've got to say. I remember when they used to talk about developing a pill that we could take 3 times a day instead of eating. Stomach keeps rumbling. Where's the joy! Oh, yeah. Wearing my wool longjohns today. Slightly better.

Sorry, Buffy. SAD was your comment. I fear to say I do love that one. It's convenient, simple to pick up, a little cheaper, and completely deadly. It seems we've exported that just like McD and Tim Horton's. I swear when I walk through the door of donut shops I gain weight just from the smell.

My trick for keeping warm. MCT oil. If used with low carbs will not put on weight and will give you quick energy for keeping warm and working out.

Neither diet sounds tempting or even appealing to me.The 4-C's diet or reading what you are eating,er ...consuming in your diet calender. I'm sure wearing your wool longjohns *is* slightly better :D

Drag, just look up the velocity diet. I've also got a short description in my bio. It's radical for sure, but I've been floundering here around the same weight for so long and I have so little yet to lose that I thought it was appropriate. It's sure not for everyone, and it could never be used long term. It's really hard even after three days.
