Stepped on the scale this AM even though weigh in day isnt until Saturday.... And it just wont move this week. I dont understand... my food choices have not been bad and I havent gone over 1400 calories and i have exercised. Yesterday I shoveled for 2 hours and did a half hour workout video after that, cleaned my whole house and really never sat down all day. Whyyyyy , this is frustrating me ALOT... I would be happy with one pound but none , I just dont understand !

It looks like you've lot a good amount of weight in a small amount of time (which I would jumping for joy). Just remember to stick with it and keep going along and don't let the scale be your only measurement. It always seems like when I lose weight there is a catchup period where I stall. This is usually when I lose inches. Plus our bodies hate change so they can be stubborn sometimes. You can do it though. Don't be too hard on yourself. Remember as long as you're sticking with eating well and exercising then you're making progress even if the scale doesn't know it. Also.. kicking the scale sometimes helps. You go through alot more scales but hey.

Good luck with your weigh-in ! I just keep telling myself that as long as I eat healthy and nourish my body I will get there , just may take alot of time. Patience is not my strong point. I am staying as low carb as I can today. I need to see something on that scale, although clothes are starting to fit differently so I know something is happening even if the scale doesnt wanna let me see it everytime. I am thinking I need to do my body measurements... Dont really wanna look at those numbers but I think I should. Im a bit obsessive and knowledge fuels my motivation.

What matters the most is that you feel the change in your body and when your clothes fit better, carry on and don't get too stressed with the scale.

I've been trying to use the math to make sense of it all. I'm seeing a big difference between calories in and calories burned and that should show a weight loss but the scale doesn't show it. I'm just hoping it's all turning into heavier muscle...ha..ha.

Sometimes too, your body is building muscle while losing fat so the scales might not show a change but the fit of your clothing might be a better indicator. Don't get discouraged; you're doing all the right things!

THANK YOU so much ladies ... this site is a godsend , We NEEEEEED this kind of support to get us through this. I am so glad I found a place so amazing to help me through this. I have to admit that I have never been this commited to my health in all my life. And coming here is like a saving grace most days , I see others struggling sometimes ( and it reminds me that I am human as we all are), and some days kicking ass ( and it makes me wanna kick ass too ) ... and either way I feel like I owe it to myself and everyone here to give this my all and DO IT.

With stupid plateaus you just have to keep pushing if you know you're doing the right things. It will break through.
