Yesterday was one of those days. I could have ate everything in sight. I did overeat but it was things that were are all pretty low in carbs. I made chicken salad so that was high in fat due to the mayo. I even ended the night with a protein shake after over eating during the day. Of today I am trying to do better.

Let me do a run down of yesterdays food..I know it's gone but I just want an overview this morning so I will not follow the same pattern.

1/28

Breakfast: 2 eggs with 1/2 cup of mushrooms and onions, 1 slice of ham
avocado and tsp of hummus

Lunch: 2 ounces of baked chicken and 1 cup of cooked squash with about 1/4 cup of onions

Dinner: chicken salad

Snack: Pecans and pistachios 1 cup(combined) plus protein shake, 4 carrots

Don't beat yourself up - I am finding sometimes that it is very hard to resist the things I shouldn't have - it happens to all of us. I wouldn't say that your choices were terrible - not too many carbs and not giving way to chocolate like I have a habit of doing!

Thanks Claire!!:-) I'm trying harder to make better choices today. I even went out and played in the snow with the kids trying to take my mind off cooking something warm and yummy. :-/ Hang in there. A few more days and I can say I have given it my all for a month. I think that will be a great goal achievement.

Sounds like fun - it has just rained and rained here, and I am so fed up with getting wet!
