1) Try to calm your craving by drinking hot infusions (tea, coffee) and light soups (less than 100 calories per soup). Don't use sugar on the hot beberages (maybe sweetener if you want sweet) 2) Don't allow for more than 2 - 3 hours to pass between meals by doing low calorie snacks between major meals, a fruit, a cereal bar, a light yougurt, etc (100 calories snacks) 3) When it's time to have a major meal, drink a light soup first (100 calories), then the meal. Try to use low releasing carbs in those meals instead of fast carbs. low releasing carbs provide a slow stream of sugar to your blood and do not produce a high sugar peak which will trigger your craving to eat more. http://healthyeating.sfgate.com/different-between-fast-carbs-slow-carbs-2306.html 4) Avoid correlating eating with other habits such as watching TV, etc because you risk eating even when you don't need it. If you suffer from this do something else (eg. drink a hot cup of tea when you watch your tv show). 5) Avoid being sedentary. Walk, run, jump, whatever. Food intake is put to good use if your metabolism is high rather than accumulating more fat. Do regular exercise and when you get hungry because of exercising drink protein shakes (look for whey powder, find a brand that tastes good). Those shakes with low fat milk are under 200 calories and will make you fill full. 6) Don't think about high calorie food (fats, sugars, etc) as something forbidden, but rather think in terms of what's good and not for your body. You're the only one that can take care of it and it's the only one you've got!! Be strong, you can do it :)

Make sure you are getting enough protein. Protein helps you feel full longer. Also sometimes I eat just because I am bored so I chew gum to deal with that and try to wait a while, usually I am not hungry. Make sure you are drinking enough water also.
