I'm...disappointed.

I wake up this morning and I'm excited to get on the scale... and it says I've only lost 4 pounds. How is that possible?
Well my answer is... I haven't pooped in 2 days. I weighed myself in day 6 and it said I'd lost 7 pounds. I know I haven't cheated I've stuck to the diet perfectly cause when I seen that I'd lost 7 pounds it kept me motivated.
When we we're shopping the first night for this diet Mike bought some herbal detox tea and that stuff makes you poop. A lot. lol. But the negative side that we noticed is that when we don't take it, we don't poop that day. So today's my last day to take it.

AAh I'm so frustrated. Stupid weigh in. Last night I was so excited to get to eat cereal. lol. and the stupid weigh in just ruined it. I didn't even enjoy eating cereal, I was to sad about my weight.
Oh well. Whatever.
I might weigh myself in again tomorrow. We'll see....

i forgot to mention. Mike lost 12 pounds. =)
168.0 lb Lost so far: 4.0 lb.    Still to go: 38.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Four pounds is a great amount for a first weigh-in. Most of it is water and when you lose too fast, you end up losing muscle too. We need the muscle because it's muscle that burns the calories (which is why men lose faster-more muscle). So great job! I am lucky to lose 2 or 3 pounds a month. You are doing fine.

I agree, you're doing well. I too was going to point out that men have been shown to lose weight faster than women because they have more muscle. At least you were able to stick to the plan, I found myself with a chocolate bar in my hand yesterday when I was supposed to be detoxing, oops. All I could do was brush myself off and re-focus. Rather than the number on the scale, think about all the positive things you're doing for your health and have fun!!
