littlemisswobbles's Journal, 19 January 2009

Another day, and the last day of my holidays. Tomorrow I'm back to work after nearly a month of, and there will be the temptation of the jellybean jar and all the junky food snacks in the lunchroom.

Today I had 2 eggs and 3 slices of bacon for brunch, and then a lowfat yoghurt. Hmmm, I'm not sure about the yoghurt because there's some belief that the carbs get burnt up alot in the fermenting process. Not sure, and probably shouldn't be having them but I don't like to throw them out, and they are handy to have if I get hungry. I tend to go overboard with things like almonds and macadamia nuts which send my calories through the roof.

Yogurt is supposedly a no-no on Atkins - at least in the beginning phases. Have you read the Atkins book? I would HIGHLY recommend it if you haven't yet. Greek yogurt is a tasty alternative - and very low in carbs. But you can't have it until the second phase. It takes time to get used to it all!!!
