The most important thing I see is that calories are more important than your carb/fat ratio (in my case). And that it's fine to up my average to 1300-1400 calories a day.

But I ate a lot more calories on weeks when I had more carbs and less fat even though I'm not even hungry now (less carbs, more fat) even though fat has way more calories.

I personally think low carb is easier than low fat because bread, sugar, etc. just makes you crave it more!

Interesting numbers, DC. Clearly, it seems there is a connection between calories in and weight lost. :)

It would be easier to find out if carbs and fat had influence if I ate the same amount of calories every week though. :p

I am with you. What type of foods I eat makes no difference in loosing. It comes down to no matter what combination of foods I eat, I won't loose if I am over my calorie count. I do try to eat healthy. I eat a lot of raw veggies, fruits, and yogurt, a few nuts, and maybe slice of whole wheat bread. I eat a hearty breakfast, a small lunch. Dinner is my most conservative meal. I often make very low calorie soups for dinner. Use Vegetable broth, and cabbage in my soups, or other veggies I have on hand. I am a vegetarian so never eat meat, fish or chicken, but may add a small amount of beans or rice.

Wow! This is amazing! Like Kingkeld says that definitely shows the correlation between calories and weight. Regarding carbs and fats, you probably shouldn't reduce any of them too much.

I try to stay around 75-100 grams a day (averages of this week are low because of the fast day :p). According to Atkins low carb is <50grams or even <20grams I'm not sure. I can eat everything I want as long as I don't binge on bread :D And about fat, I'm still trying to get my fats from healthy sources cause I think most of it comes from animal products. I'm thinking about limiting or avoiding milk, because now that I keep a food diary I really notice that the more dairy I eat/drink, the bigger the chance that I get an acne outbreak so I think my body doesn't like milk :c

You have an amazing control over lots of data in your diet! :) I would be very unhappy if I had to stop drinking milk but I understand that many people develop intolerance to it. :P
