december 17, 2020 Lost another lb, weight 150.Blood sugar 109 without glypizide. I do take metformin twice a day. Appetite still depressed. Waist down to 32 inches.(not obese by US standards though international magic number is under 31 inches) and that waist size, 32, is new. It has been 35 inches since last June or so. Sleeping better the past three days since I have been cutting back on flour products, sweets, even chocolate and nuts. I suspect that, despite the low count of calories I have recorded in past months, that does not off set the bad effects of little snacks during the day and the foods I just mentioned above.

Now the program says I will reach 142 in two weeks. Not probable but the nice thing is that I might, just might, make 149 before the end of the month. Rapid loss is usually bogus and involves dehydration and rapid evacuation of bowel content, but since I am drinking 8 cups of water a day and not having problems at this point, it might be a real loss after all.
twice this year I have seen my weight bound up 3 and 4 lbs because of a holiday meal. apparently water retention was involved because much of it goes off in two or three days.
150.2 lb Lost so far: 47.8 lb.    Still to go: 8.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
