Sunday December 6, weight 152.5, blood sugar 122. Not sure how I avoided a huge upward weight jump (ate a roll with butter at dinner last night) but grateful. Taking culturelle seems to have "cured" what I thought was lactose intolerance. No one ever mentioned that was possible. Sticking to this new way of eating, lean and green and under 1000--low but appropriate since I am 79 years old and sedentary, has improved my health a lot. Consuming maybe 3 pieces of bread in a month and maybe half a piece of fruit, along with apple, orange, or a whole tangerine in a day has helped take care of my sweet tooth although I often have with a small piece of very dark chocolate once in a while and 3-8 almonds.
