Hello All,

Been a bit quite on the site lately. Things have just been really stressful.

Rundown of this week:

Anniversery of my step-dad's death. Probably shouldn't be so hard. It's the 10th anniversary, but I obsessed over it. He was the coolest and really taught me a lot.

Mailbox Tampering. Someone decided they would open my new visa and leave it in the street. They took all the paperwork from the envelope and stuck the envelope in the bush. The wind caught the envelope and it was in the street. I had no more than cancelled the card, called the bank, and the police department filed the report and left, we ate dinner and a bit later

Realized my daughter had left her wallet in the truck on Tuesday after her driving lesson. Teh wallet was not there. We searched everything and she of course was in tears. The corvette was parked on the street. It is NEVER unlocked. Someone had been in the car and in the Jimmy. Another police report! Luckily, or maybe not, they used some kind of equipment to open the doors and didn't cause any damage. The console of the vette was open. That never gets opened because the car is 24 years old! Don't want it to break.

Filed yet antoher police report. We were looking around the bush that my credit card was found near and found her wallet at the base of the bush. Cancelled her visa debit, called the bank, filed another police report.

On the diet side, my hair is now falling out. Doctor thinks that I have been pushing too hard. I've been under a lot of stress and probably skipped 6 dinners in the last two weeks. Sooo... no gym for me this week. Double the multi-vitamin, eat more and cut out the gym this week... this makes me shudder!! I have worked so hard and come so far.

For the next seven days, will be sure to take small walks, but no cardio, no streuous exercise.

I guess maybe it's better to be fat than bald ***

Hi, Stormi. Please forgive me for asking some pointed questions regarding your hair loss... 1) I noticed that you are adhering to the Medi Weight Loss plan. From perusing it, it looks like it is a high protein, low carbohydrate plan. Are you following the program strongly? Is your protein consumption better than about 100grams/day? 2)In order for protein to be correctly metabolized and used by the body to form the connective tissues that make up hair, I believe certain nutrients are required such as vitamin C and Iron. Do you take a multivitamin with Iron or do you take in foods that are rich in those nutrients on a daily basis? 3)Have you been focusing on weight training and aggressive cardio at the gym? If you have been challenging your body with these exercises, you have probably prompted your muscle tissue to accelerate the process of breaking down old cells and adding in more new ones--that will cause your body to shunt protein away from the repair functions required to maintain your hair follicles. 4)Did the doctor order a TSH lab test on you? I had a hair loss episode in the past that I was able to nutritionally rectify. As a big girl, one of the few physical features that I ever took pride in was my hair and it was scary when I started to lose a bunch of it in the shower. Good Luck Mercurielle
