Ok so I am actually very confused. Yesterday and the day before I ate over 2000 calories which is way past my caloric deficit of 1300 calories but the funny things is that I lost weight. How in earth does this make sense.

If you look at your average daily calories for the week there's your answer. You were still in a calorie deficit. Perfection is not the answer - consistency is - imho.
