Up again. I guess this is possibly one time whyguy's idea did not work. Have dropped my RDI to sedentary level and will just have to eat less...

It was nice while it lasted LOL. Been drinking too much diet lemonade too in the extremely hot weather we have been having, been bad about getting my water in and I need to tighten up on my food - not that I am eating anything bad but I need more food with nutrients in it LOL.

I'm sure you're not the only one, nor the first for whom whyguy's theory did not work. It's exactly that....a theory. Very well-thought out and lots of reading behind it, but still a theory. I'm glad he proposed it and it's certainly worth considering, but I suspect it's a bit too simplistic for the complexities of the human body's metabolism. Let's face it, losing weight is not an exact science (yet) and every body is different. There are a few guiding principles that SEEM to work well for MANY people, but there are just too many individual differences. I'ms sure that once you make the changes you're considering, you'll bend that graph right on down again.

Thanks Sandy - I just hate seeing that line head up again - after all my hard work and saying no to so much LOL.

Sorry it didnt work for you, I know it is frustrating, but I think the stress you are under has a lot to do with things too, and lack of sleep. Both of those trigger weight gain. Take care and maybe things will get to where you can relax and it will happen. Worrying about not losing is also stress that perpetuates the cycle.

Thanks Feeling! Yeah the stress is still kinda ongoing. We had our house checked for damage yesterday but we don't think the guy went under our floor properly to check if our piles had moved (which we think they have). So will send hubby down there this afternoon - won't be telling him we had another aftershock last night while we were asleep though LOL. last night was lovely and cool so we slept well which was awesome!

Gee I wish I did know. I have eaten less, eaten more, exercised less, exercised more LOL. Had sweeteners, stayed away from sweeteners, eaten more veggies, eaten less veggies... and so it goes on ROFL! I hope you have a great day too!

Okay I think I have worked it out. I have been having too much protein from what I can research. Some days I eat chicken and not a lot else, especially in hot weather LOL. I would rather drop my protein than drop my calories right now - i was getting grumpy just thinking about being hungry LOL
