OH, YUM. That bread is gorgeous... it's a good thing I am a terrible baker - self control which is already difficult would be out the door :)

Aww man. Now I wanna bake lol. We need to bake a fruit cake for my great Aunt’s birthday next week. Maybe the kids will want to help with some bread too.

Thanks, everybody! Wifey, I'm afraid that shipped across the continent would reduce the freshness a little too much! 😁 Princess, I think that was a comment to the exact photos texted to you! We ate so much bread yesterday! It was delightful, and because it was within my calories, I had no gain on the scale. Yay! 😁 Peeper, we often make fruitcake for Christmas! Maybe this year!!! 😁

acamarillo, I posted this for wifey yesterday, so here it is. It is as far from Keto as could be. 😁 It is actually quite a basic bread: 5c warm water, 1 tbs salt, 3 tbs yeast, 2/3c oil, 1/3c molasses, 1/3c honey, about 12 cups of flour. I use about 2/3 whole wheat to 1/3 white, but any combination works depending on how heavy you like your bread! 400 degrees for 10 min and then 370 for 30. There you have it!
