changeovertime's Journal, 30 November 2013

I was thin, healthy and active the first half of my life. At almost sixty, I see my best years having slipped through my fingers. Every single time I managed a weight loss, I gained it back plus more. Not only is it humiliating and socially unattractive, my physical movement is compromised. I can't get on the floor and play with my grandchildren. A flight of stairs leaves me huffing and puffing. Weight Watchers has had more than enough of my business. Hope is eternal. Therefore, this time I am treating weight loss as a holistic project, immersing myself in healthy recipes/cooking, reading material, doable exercise, and attention to my appearance. "Project me" is underway.

Good for you. We can do it at any age, and it does not mattter how much time we lost. We are not going to lose any more. Now we have wisdom and patence, and we will win :)

Thanks for the support. I know I'm going to need it on this long journey. Once I figure out how to make buddies and help support them also, I'll be on my way.
