I had to have an emergency surgery for appendicitis that was about to rupture. They had to do a full incision due to the severity of the issue, and that caused a great amount of healing time. My diet and exercise went out the window. I found myself pigging out on everything in sight, and as you can see, my weight shows it. I've decided I need to get back into eating right and exercising.

I'm finding the exercising to be a bit of an issue since I'm having a lot to deal with in personal issues right now. I find myself feeling a little depressed and just wanting to sleep all the time. Well, I know exercise will help with that, so I just need to force myself to do it.

Full swing, here I come!!! Lower weight, be ready. I'm coming to get you!
148.0 lb Lost so far: 1.0 lb.    Still to go: 8.0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

Any surgery is likely to cause a certain amount of trauma and that will often translate into overeating for many of us. These are normal swings so don't be too hard on yourself. You have plenty of time to repair the damage and put yourself right back on track towards achieving your goal in the manner you describe at the end. Just keep doing your best, as it most likely will be enough. :-)
