Happy Almost Weekend, My Favorite Followers!

I am happily back into my routine of going to Orange Theory Fitness and eating OMAD staying under 800 calories. I have a good balance of macro-nutrients and pushing a little more protein. Basically I am eating fresh fruits and vegetables with protein.

The very low calorie routine is temporary; until I have surgery on my left hip scheduled for October 6th.

I am SAD though, because my first surgery feels so excellent! I am able to work-out, kayak, hike, and bike. Soon, I will be out-of-commission again for 12 weeks!

Goals: 2020-2021
* Down on the Idiot Box while rebuilding muscle
* Bodyfat% reading with trainer once weight is down
* Drink at least 10-12 cups of fresh water/fluids daily
* Continue HIIT mixed in with weight lifting three to five days a week
* Keep up the training notebook to achieve progressive overload

Longer Range Goals:
*Bodyfat at 27% or less
*Longer range body fat goal is 25% - which at my age is great!
*Maintain 160lbs or less staying under goal weight in 2021
*Increased strength, endurance and flexibility during workout

Glad you are enjoying your recovery and sorry you have to go through it again! I really like this workout pyramid. I like how you have short and long term goals! I think I need to do that too.

that is a bummer, for sure, as you are feeling great - but - look at you - you bounced back from the first one so you know you will be back at it in no time. you have great grit and determination.

Darn, another hip surgery? I will be thinking of you. I am sure all will go well, as did your other surgery.
