Was out shopping when quake #2236 hit our city. Cut power to some areas and some people say it was almost as bad as the initial 7.1 quake. At least we had a few days off from feeling them, guess they are back again - yay! NOT! lol

Yeah a beautiful Japanese Maple, some strawberry plants and a cheap cell phone so Johnny and I can keep in contact when the phones go down again.

I love Japanese maples! There was a major tree grower on the south side of Fort Worth, Texas that specialized in all sorts of varieties. At that time, I had WAY too much hot sun all over the yard to grow them, but always hoped to find a little nook to put one in. You can see what he grows on his Metro Maples site. It hard to imagine going through over 2000 tremors! You, and every NZ resident deserve medals!!!

I am so sorry that you had to go through yet another quake. I wouldn't be able to stand it. So glad that you are safe. That is a super idea on the cell phones. My prayers are with you and yours.:)
