Week 1 is over. I lost nearly 5 pounds so I'm halfway to the 10 pound mark by Thanksgiving with five weeks to go. Amazing how just cutting out breads and cookies (oops) helped. I still managed to get in my dark dark chocolate. It's so encouraging to lose a couple pounds more. Wow, wonder what would happen if I added in the exercise. I do walk about a mile a day at work (to and from the parking lot) but I'm talking about actual planned exercise. Okay . . . maybe the elliptical trainer while I'm watching TV . . . hmmmm. . . let's give that a try!
