I just started the South Beach Diet yesterday, and it's already working. I didn't think that I'd have the willpower for it, but since I got through the first day without my pasta fix, I'm thinking that things are going to be ok. Someone offered me cookies, and some kid came to my door selling doughnuts later...I swear, it's a conspiracy. Haha. But I lost four pounds over the course of two days. It was probably water weight, but I'm feeling encouraged anyway. Twenty-six more pounds to go! :)
