For my birthday my husband bought me a ticket to go see my daughter! I just got back from San Antonio and it was SUPER to see her and just spend an entire weekend with her!!! I stayed a mile from the Riverwalk and we walked down everyday; then walked around downtown and walked back. So although my food intake wasn't the best I did get exercise in. My return flight was not good....delay on top of delay and I finally got home yesterday morning at 3am (in time to get up at 4:45am for work). I was still awake at 3:36am wondering when I would fall asleep. Yesterday was rough, but it was worth it. I do have to say that I am happy to be back home and to get back on my schedule. I feel rejuvenated after seeing my 'baby'. She is doing so well; just finished up the EMT portion of her schooling and moving on to nursing. Not sure where she will end up but she passed both skills tests (if you don't pass then you are not allowed the opportunity to go to an overseas duty station).
Have that wedding mid month September so I am hitting it hard. If anyone wants to start a new challenge or knows of one coming up please let me know!
Thank you all for the emails...love you my FS friends!!!
