Slow and steady wins the race. I'm going to attempt to make a corn chowder tonight. I added in tea this morning and that was really nice. I feel fantastic. I'm in a better mood and I have more energy. I'm not going to say I have the desire to run a marathon or anything like that but I definitely don't have a desire to sleep or take a nap. I actually get hungry too, instead of just getting to the point where I eat based on the time. Now I'm actually remembering to eat because I'm hungry! What a novel concept. Checking in every day has also been really helpful for me. The one thing I miss is a dessert. I'm sure that when I have the option of eating more things and gain more experience cooking and finding recipes, I'll find a dessert item. I guess it isn't hurting me to not have a dessert item right now. Still, it would be nice to have a small snack that is dessert style, instead of ... well whatever the hell rice cake or salted popcorn style is.
