So I am up a pound this week, and it is a complete shock! I stuck to my 900 calorie limit monday-friday and gained. It really is frustrating when you stay ontop of everything, make it a great week, and are disspointed by the scale. I notice that sometimes when I dont work out the morning of my weigh in I show that I gained, but I refuse to believe thats the reason why this time around. I felt SO empowerded last week with my almost 4 pound loss. Now I feel like I've taken 10 steps back and follow the agonizing path of up and down I have been following for months.

Can I say, you look GREAT! :) Awesome! :) I see that you, too, are following Weight Watchers :) :) I hope you don't mind, as we don't know each other, but some things to think about, in case not mentioned before? :) With WW, they recommend to people not to go below 19 pts a day, which is equivalent to 950 cals, plus we have the 35 extra weekly points, which rougly works out to 1750 cals. I have seen people who eat below their pts allowance in my meetings gain between 1-2 lbs. There will also come a time where your body is at the lowest point for weight that it wants to maintain and will not lose more weight. Something that is hard for anyone losing weight to come to terms with. :P Though that may not apply to you yet. :) However, it also could be that you've been doing so well with the weight loss, that your body needs a week or two to adjust to it's new body weight before it comtinues to lose more. You lost 4 lbs last week? Wow! :) I peeked at your diary (today's entry -posted) to see that you are eating a good amount of protein (doctor recommendations range from 29-47g/day)and seem to be watching your sodium intake and your carbs intake. :) Do you follow the WW recommendation of getting 2 glasses milk/soymilk a day and the 2 tsps of oil a day? I'm just grabbing at anything to give you ideas. :) I haven't read your other diary entries but do you generally eat the same things for your meals or do you "spice it up"? I agree with The Coach about not worrying about it too much, after all that :), I wouldn't want you to get disheartened because of 1 week where you gained. Look to how far you've come and enjoy how you feel now as a result of the lifestyle change you made. Your exercise regimen must have you feeling better, a great stress-reliever and noticed the new strength that you've probably discovered. These benefits, and your course of action, should be what the focus is on. And I hope not to have offended, and hope that I have helped somewhat, even if it is only encouragement. :) :)
