I feel so thin today.

I know the scale hasn't budged for me this week but I'm sitting here in my size 17 jeans and they FIT. I wore them to school this morning and I'm really comfortable in them right now. These jeans I seriously last wore sometime in early 2008. Yet, here I am wearing them today with an XL top (which is kind of baggy on me.)

I'm back from class, handed my paper in but don't think I did that great on it. I think I passed the class even if I have an irrational fear that I didn't right now. My project group didn't show (this is going to be a long semester working with these people) so I came home to have lunch and I'm seriously considering a nap. I'm doing a charity walk tonight and need to be there at 5 (and it's probably an hour drive to get there) but I'm thinking I might possibly have time for a 30 minute catnap before I go. I hope.

Part of me wants so badly to go jogging right now but I am absolutely exhausted and am doing a walk for charity tonight (I can't see this being far or taxing though). I expect to have a few pics of me from this since my team captain is taking pictures to send to our supporters. (We raised over $1300 which is amazing since we're not a corporate team). I'll share one if there's a good one of me.

Anyway, tomorrow is MINE and I am really looking forward to having a day off. I'm planning to sleep in a little then go walk this wonderful canal near me. (I may jog but that depends on my shin and energy level.)

Hope all my buddies are having a great weekend!

Affirmations for today:
1) Nothing has to be perfect, it's impossible to do everything perfectly all the time.

2) I'm inspired by my own progress

3) Every day, I shine a little bit brighter.

Update: I can now zip ALL of my size 17 jeans. Most of the pairs are too tight to wear but they ZIP!

Very cool!!! Feels great doesn't it? I remember having a goal at one time that everything in my closet would fit comfortably. I still find things tucked away that are now too big!! LOL!!! After vacation, I was feeling like I might be bloated and wore an old pair of size 14's that I've always loved and held onto. So funny ... I caught my reflection in a glass window and they were sooo baggy!!! Felt kind of foolish for wearing them all day. You are doing wonderfully ... keep it up Sue!!!

You are probably converting fat into muscle. That means the pounds will start coming off faster. Keep up the good work!

You know, I tend to plateau a little about once a month for no real reason other than my body readjusting. I'm not worried about it this time.
